A Brooklyn man died on Saturday after he was shot three times while sitting in his BMW, according to police.

Arfan Butt, 33, succumbed to his injuries after being shot in the torso multiple time in Dyker Heights in Brooklyn. 

He had been sitting in his BMW at the time when two males discharged a firearm, the New York Post reports. Police found Butt lying on the ground.

The shooting occurred in front of 1222 78th Street, between 12th and 13th avenues at around 5.20pm.

‘He was shot three times in the torso,’ an NYPD spokesman said. 

Police say that the suspects fled the scene in a Mercedes Benz in an unknown direction

Butt had been taken to the Maimonides Hospital after the shooting.

No arrest have been made an the investigation is ongoing.
