This 1993 BMW 318is is a “slicktop” example that was originally sold in Canada and modified by CG Motorsports of Richmond, British Columbia with a repaint in Merlot Red Metallic, an iDing Power widebody kit, M Parallel wheels, E36 M3 bumper covers and mirrors, and H&R suspension components. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2018, and additional modifications include installing a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six, a six-speed manual transmission sourced from an E46 M3, Recaro front bucket seats, and a MOMO steering wheel as well as reupholstering the rear bench. This E36 is now offered on dealer consignment with an accident-free Carfax report and a Washington State title.

The car was refinished by Bismark Collision of Richmond, British Columbia in Merlot Red Metallic and features an iDing Power widebody kit, E36 M3-sourced bumper covers and side mirrors, black kidney grilles, smoked taillights, and a rear spoiler. The 18″ M-Parallel wheels were refurbished during previous ownership and wear Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires measuring 225/40 up front and 255/35 out back. The suspension has been modified with H&R Race springs. Clear paint protection film has been applied to the forward surfaces according to the selling dealer. 

Recaro Sportster CS front seats trimmed in black with Alcantara inserts were installed by the current owner, and the rear bench has been reupholstered to match. Additional interior equipment includes electric windows, aluminum pedal covers, an onboard computer, automatic climate control, and a Pioneer CD player.

A MOMO Nero steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 114k miles, and mileage inconsistencies are noted on the Carfax report in August 2008 and September 2018. Total mileage is unknown.

A 3.2-liter S54 inline-six sourced from an E46 M3 were installed during current ownership, while modifications include Dinan Performance engine software. Power is routed through a six-speed manual gearbox and the rear differential houses a 3.43:1 gear ratio.

The June 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists the aforementioned mileage inconsistencies as well as emissions testing, registration, and service history in British Columbia and Washington State. A walk-around video with the engine running can be viewed below.
