This 2002 BMW M Roadster is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over black Nappa leather. Now showing 24k miles, the car was first delivered to Hart BMW of Rogers, Arkansas and spent time in Missouri prior to its acquisition by the seller in a June 2020 Bring a Trailer auction. Power is provided by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, heated seats, a Harman Kardon CD stereo, and an illuminated shift knob. The seller states the rear bumper was repainted, the rear-view mirror was repaired, and the soft top rear window was replaced along with the spark plugs, ignition coils, and camshaft position sensor. This M Roadster is now offered with a window sticker, service records, an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic with a black soft top, M-logo fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included rear window and driver’s front side marker replacement, repair of the door lock mechanisms, and a repaint of the rear bumper. The seller states a car cover will be included in the sale.
Staggered-width 17″ Roadstar wheels are wrapped in 225/45 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires up front and 245/40 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires in back.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in black Nappa leather with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include heated seats, air conditioning, a Harman Kardon CD stereo, and an illuminated shift knob. The rear-view mirror was repaired under current ownership.
A leather-wrapped Motorsport steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an odometer that shows just over 24k miles, approximately 800 of which were added by the seller.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was factory-rated at 315 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. An oil change and inspection was performed in February 2021, and the spark plugs, ignition coils, camshaft position sensor, and power steering pressure hose have been replaced.
