This 1998 BMW M3 is finished in Cosmos Black Metallic over black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six coupled with a five-speed manual transmission. The cabin features “Vader” sport seats that have been reupholstered in black Nappa leather. Amenities include a six-disc CD changer, 11-button onboard computer, lighted shift knob, power accessories, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The carpet, floor mats, headliner, and rear parcel shelf upholstery were replaced in June 2019, and Bavsound cabin speakers have been installed. The seller notes that the seat heating elements are disconnected and that the driver-side door seal is torn. The removed seat upholstery is included in the sale.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel was recovered in July 2020 and features M tri-color stitching. Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, fuel economy, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer has 94k miles, approximately 4,500 of which were added by the seller.

Power is provided by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six, and service performed under current ownership has included replacing the radiator, expansion tank, power steering lines, water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, and engine mounts. The oil and filter were last changed in November 2020.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. An April 2020 service included installing an ECS Tuning lightweight flywheel and replacing the clutch assembly, transmission mounts, shifter position sleeve, flex disc, and transmission tunnel insulation. A Stromung cat-back exhaust system and replacement differential bushings were installed in June 2020, and the removed factory exhaust is included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Colorado, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Michigan through the most recent entry in November 2020.
